The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of Rochester, NY and in Canandaigua, N.Y.
Jordan Health is now seeking a RN-Refugee Program Manager who, under the guidance of the Practice Manager, is primarily responsible for providing competent patient care based on established standards and collaborates with the health care team to meet the needs of the refugee population, to include program development, coordinating community outreach and preventive health care.

Requirements
The RN-Refugee Program Manager will ensure to:
· Assist and supports a practice team in the clinical session by using informed judgement and individual competency and assessment skills when making patient care decisions.
· The RN assumes charge and leadership nursing responsibilities when appropriate according to departmental needs.
· Provides direct supervision, develops and manages work schedules for the department interpreters.
· Maintains the Refugee Program Director’s patient panel and daily schedule.
· Develops and manages a continuing education training schedule for interpreters and coordinates on-going center wide cultural education specific to our patient population needs.
· Assists with precepting and evaluation of new staff, to include nurses and interpreters.
· Assist with Center Practice Manager duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or delegate.
· Reliable attendance in order to be present to maintain effective relationships and keep up with position responsibilities.
Education And Experience Required:
· Current NYS license without any negative actions.
· Must have experience working with refugee population in a clinical setting.
· Some leadership skills required.
· Must demonstrate knowledge of cultural attitudes and appropriateness for the refugee populations we serve.
Licenses And Certifications:
· NYS Registered Nurse
