Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dental assisting experience who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions

- Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure compliance with sterilization standards

- Take and record vital signs of patients

Qualifications:

- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, such as taking dental x-rays

- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of anatomy and oral health conditions
