The Administrator, Education Services collaborates with the Director, Education Services on all ANNA education initiatives as requested and assists the Director as a liaison to the ANNA Education Committee. Additionally, the Administrator provides expert counsel and direct support to the Committee’s three (3) Subcommittees: Clinical Services, Conferences and Publications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Director, Education Services to ensure the effective and timely implementation of all education initiatives for ANNA members.
  • Cultivate strong, supportive, and collaborative relationships with all Education Committee and Subcommittee Members, especially the Subcommittee Chairs.
  • Provide planning and administrative support to Committee and Subcommittee Members as requested.
  • As staff lead, work closely with the Subcommittee on Conferences; the AJJ Conferences Department; the Manager, ANNA Membership and Volunteer Services; the Director, Education Services; and other ANNA and AJJ staff where appropriate to plan, coordinate and successfully implement the details relating to the National Symposium and the Nephrology Nursing Summit.
  • Provide administrative support as needed and requested to the Co-Chief Nurse Advisors for Advocacy and Public Policy in the planning and execution of the annual Health Policy Summit.
  • Ensure all educational publications – other than the Nephrology Nursing Journal – are up-to-date and relevant, working closely with the Director, Education Services, and the Subcommittee on Publications.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Education Services; the Director, Online Learning & Innovation; and the Director, Strategic Communications to ensure the effective communications and marketing of all education initiatives, including but not limited to webinars and podcasts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of excellent customer or member experience, preferably in a non-profit association environment. Marketing experience a plus.
  • Professional manner, and the ability to apply critical thinking and knowledge-based decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with the ANNA team and AJJ, Inc. corporate team within the corporate structure.

  • Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and follow projects through to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products and the ability to learn specialized database systems.
  • Ability to travel when necessary.
  • Availability to participate in conference calls and events that may occur outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends when needed).
