Anteris is Hiring a Systems Administrator - Houston, TX Near Houston, TX

Are you our future systems administrator?

We’re looking for an all-star systems administrator to join our growing team as one of our first-line problem-solvers for all our client’s IT needs. Your goal is singular and will be the beating heart of our existence - to ensure that client systems run efficiently and effectively across a wide range of organizations and structures.

Our systems administrators must be passionate about technology and be motivated to expand their skills in targeted areas (e.g. industry certifications) as well as work well in a team environment with a high level of emotional intelligence and an attitude of humility. Most of all, they will see the value in every person on our team, treating them with respect and supporting them as necessary with their role to best serve one another and our clients.

What your typical week will look like

  • Queue coverage of Phone, Email, and Ticket portals.
  • Day to day maintenance of client systems.
  • Conduct remote oversight of patching, backups, and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and solve escalated client issues.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance (This may require intrastate travel).
  • Participation in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 client support (currently you are on-call every 4-5 weeks, on average).
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate client scheduling requirements or to participate in scheduled projects. 

Educational background

At least one industry-recognized certification required (e.g. A , S , N , MCSA, etc). Existing knowledge of Linux, Mac OSX, Windows, Corporate antivirus systems, Microsoft Office Applications, and Cloud Service (e.g. AWS, Azure) will give you a considerable advantage!

Skills and required knowledge

  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Windows Server 2016 and newer. 
  • Domain management 
  • DNS 
  • RAID/Storage Management 
  • Remote Access 
  • Group Policies 
  • Exchange 2016 (or newer) and Microsoft 365. 
  • VMWare ESXi and related products.
  • Understanding of routing and network security pertaining to server environments 
  • Troubleshooting logic

Salary Range:The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, depending upon experience.
