Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients with various medical conditions, including but not limited to medical imaging, occupational health, acute care, and pediatrics
- Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence through therapeutic activities and exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home-based care
Experience:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in medical imaging, occupational health, acute care, or pediatrics is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
