Annie Wright Schools seek a Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator to begin immediately. This is a new, exempt, hybrid part-time (0.5 FTE) position that reports to the Assistant Head of Schools.

Position Description

The Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator plays a critical role in assisting the Head of Schools and the Senior Leadership Team in making data-driven decisions regarding the program delivered to students. The Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator develops and maintains dashboards, visualizations, predictive models, and algorithms that uncover actionable insights that improve equity and student outcomes. In addition, the Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator supports the division directors in most efficiently and effectively utilizing the school’s Learning Management System.

Core Job Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator is responsible for:

• Working with the Middle and Upper School division directors to collect, organize, analyze, and report on the data that feeds the school’s Student Thrivability Measure;
• Coordinating with the Lower and Middle Schools to generate twice-yearly Math Reports that are shared with students and parents;
• Collecting and presenting the “Who We Are” data report that provides insights into the make-up of the AWS student body and of school employees;
• Ensuring that the data within myAW–the school’s Learning Management System–is accurate and well-maintained;
• Addressing other data-driven projects as determined by the Assistant Head of Schools

Qualifications

The Data Analyst & Systems Coordinator:

• holds a Bachelors of Arts or Science in data science, computer science, mathematics or similar degree;
• has expertise and experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI;
• ability to collect, mine, and manipulate data from disparate data sources;
• has a willingness to dig deeper and understand processes that create data;
• is highly organized and capable of developing and executing efficient work flow systems;
• practices cultural humility in personal interactions;
• is eligible to work in the United States. Note: Under our current employment policies, we are unable to sponsor work visas and do not offer positions to candidates who are not yet eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time;
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs;
• Must be able to communicate and exchange information with others.

Salary & Benefits

This part-time, benefited position offers a salary range of $25,000-$35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include the following, subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plan:

• A 403(b) retirement plan with a 6% company match with a 3 % employee contribution
