ContinuousNature of Work:
Responsible for overseeing the Opioid Misuse Prevention Program (OMPP) initiative including the implementation of the Academic Detailing Strategy, Naloxone Trainings with prevention messaging and the implementation of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) model including needs assessment, capacity building, strategic planning, implementation and evaluation.
Requires travel throughout Anne Arundel County for assigned program activities as needed. Must provide their own transportation, possess a driver’s license valid in Maryland and will receive reimbursement for official travel expenses per Department of Health policies.
Experience:
Minimum of two years working in public health or a similar field. Working with health care providers and pharmacists. Public speaking, writing formal reports, developing educational materials, strategic planning and evaluation, and excellent and situation appropriate oral and written communication skills.
