As our Personal Care Home/Day Program Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and implementing resident programs and services through the Program Center, Residential Services, Assessment and Curriculum, Social Services, and the Medicaid Waiver Day Program in accordance with applicable regulations. This position will oversee multiple departments within Annandale's full continuum of care. Strong leadership skills are a must for this position, and successful candidates will also demonstrate effective organization and operational skills, must be collaborative, strategic and customer oriented, with an emphasis on growth and support of current programs. You will report to our Chief Programs Officer.

  • Responsible for ensuring positive and productive communication between departmental staff, management team, and administrative team.
  • Ensures Annandale’s program quality and person-centered focus meets the individual developmental abilities of each resident and addresses the individual desires expressed in his/her ISP
  • Ensures family input, involvement, and support for Villager services.
  • Works with the Financial Services department to develop, plan, and implement annual budgets for the Programs and Services departments.
  • Collaborate with the departmental managers to plan and coordinate daily operations to ensure a seamless integration and delivery of programs and services to the residents
  • Ensures the safety and security of Annandale staff and residents through training and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Facilitates P&S while ensuring all P&S Departments maintain pertinent lists, forms, and resident information
  • Responsible for ensuring critical incident reporting to the appropriate state agencies.
  • Serves as the contact person for Personal Care Home and Medicaid Waiver audits.
  • Oversees the Admissions Committee for the Personal Care Home and Medicaid Waiver Day Program, reviewing all potential resident applications to ensure appropriateness for placement
  • Ensures that the milestone reviews for all resident support and service plans are scheduled and implemented with the resident’s family/guardian in a timely manner and that the reviews are accurate and meaningful.

Education Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Licenses: Personal Care Home Administrator licenses preferred; at a minimum must meet requirements for eligibility and obtain within the first 90 days of employment. Must be able to meet the minimum requirements outlined by DBHDD to be certified as a Developmental Disability Professional (DDP).

Experience: Previous job-related experience

  • Ability to effectively supervise others and delegate authority

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on servant leadership.

  • Persuasive with strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills.

  • Attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver results in a timely manner.
