The 3 Monthly Earned Bonus categories are as follows:

#1 - Super Star Performance Bonus - can be earned monthly! Teaching has many roles each day when it comes to caring for little ones. Have you ever felt you should be nominated to win an ‘Oscar’ in the category of Lead Teacher? Should you be nominated for Best ‘Room Design’ or Best ‘Original Song’? Maybe your daycare children feel you should be nominated as being the Best ‘Costume Designer’ or the Best Reader of ‘Animated Short Stories’?

At Anna’s Bananas Daycare & Preschool, we recognize many of our employees deserve an Oscar, however - why make that a one time win or only have one winner? It is important to us that all of our employees, no matter what role they have in the classroom, have the opportunity to be recognized for their passion to teach and earn “MONETARY BONUSES” every month and keep that opportunity available month after month!!

#2 - Retention Appreciation Monthly Bonus - Our company will pridefully pay a monthly retention bonuses to each employee, month after month, who is employed with our company and after they have qualified for this retention appreciation bonus.

#3 - Transfer Bonus - Anna’s Bananas Daycare & Preschool has 6 locations. If an employee works at any location outside of their ‘homebase’, transfer bonuses will be given and can be multiplied up to 5 times if the employee worked at all 6 of our locations in a month! Employees are hired at one of our 6 locations and primarily scheduled at their “homebase” location. However, when transferring outside of your “homebase” location, your monthly transfer bonus will reflect the centers you worked at. Transfer to one center in a month, you are eligible for one transfer bonus. Transfer to 5 centers in one month and BOOM…multiply that bonus by FIVE! Now that’s Oscar worthy news!

Starting Wages, Monthly Monetary Performance Bonus and Benefits Include:

• BONUSES MONTHLY. Employees have the opportunity to earn more each month through our Performance Based Bonus program, Retention Bonus program and Transfer Bonus program!
• Teachers starting at $19.00/hour to $21.00/hour based on experience, assortment of college credits or college degree.
• Assistant Teachers starting at $17.00/hour to $18.00/hour based on experience and or assortment of college credits.

Nine different ways are below for candidates to qualify as a Lead Teacher:

• A high school diploma or commissioner of education-selected high school equivalency certification. With Experience: 4,160 hours as assistant teacher & Education: 24 qualifying quarter credits
• Diploma from Association Montessori Internationale; preprimary credential, primary diploma, or provisional certificate from the American Montessori Society, without a baccalaureate degree. With Experience: 2,080 hours as assistant teacher, aide, or student intern & Education: 12 qualifying quarter credits
• Preprimary credential, primary diploma, or provisional certificate from the American Montessori Society; or diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale with a baccalaureate degree. With Experience: 1,040 hours as assistant teacher, aide, or student intern & Education: no additional required
• Minnesota technical institute certificate as a Child Development Assistant. With Experience: 2,080 hours as an assistant teacher & Education: six qualifying quarter credits

*If an applicant lacks ‘experience hours’, a variance can be requested for approval from the DHS.

• Child Development Associate Certification - CDC
• License from the Minnesota Department of Education for Prekindergarten Associate; or a certificate or credential for a two-year program from an accredited community college or technical college in child development or early childhood education
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field
• License from the Minnesota Department of Education for elementary education without kindergarten endorsement
• License from the Minnesota Department of Education for prekindergarten/nursery, or a license from the Minnesota Department of Education for elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement
