Ann’s Choice is a beautiful 103-acre continuing care retirement community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We’re part of a growing network of communities managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are seeking a Director of Dining Services, who possesses a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, to become a valuable member of our team. This Director will be held accountable for spearheading our Signature Dining Programs, which offer freshly made meals and chef-inspired culinary creations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering an enriching employee culture, providing professional development opportunities, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience starting at $120000 per year

How you will impact our mission and growth:

  • Develops team members through appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure strong operational performance.
  • Responsible for fiscal management and accountability for the department. Implement systems and controls to achieve financial performance as established by the departmental budget, including per meal costs, labor costs, and raw food costs.
  • Ensures accurate accounting standards are upheld. Actively ensures effective cost controls management is in place.
  • Maintains a monthly operating report to analyze performance to budget and ensures financial goals are met.
  • Responsible for ongoing evaluation of programs, operations, training, purchasing, and personnel performance in order to maintain excellence.
  • Assure that all services and programs are in compliance with federal, state, and/or local laws and statutes.
  • Evaluates Resident Satisfaction results and develops action plan to address opportunities.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary, Restaurant/Institution Management, Dietetics, or Nutrition required. A minimum of 15 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred 
  • A minimum of 7 years of restaurant or food service management experience, including production, service, sanitation, training, and education is required. 
  • Serve Safe Certified obtained within 6 months of employment. Additional certifications are required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.
