AnMed is Hiring a Grant Writer Near Anderson, SC

Under the supervision of the Director of Planning and Market Research, the Grant Writer researches grant opportunities to support the goals and objectives of AnMed. The Grant Writer will gather information from various departments and work with the Director of Planning and Market Research and other stakeholders to prioritize the pursuit of grant opportunities. In collaboration with AnMed staff, strategizes and develops all aspects of program planning, implementation, and evaluation for proposals. Coordinates and writes grant proposals for government and non-government funds. Develops/maintains effective, long-term working relationships with grantors to facilitate approval of grants. Follows up with grantors to determine/monitor grant status. Writes reports for grants awarded that track progress, document effectiveness, and positions AnMed for success.

The Grant Writer researches, prepares and submits grants to support AnMed’s strategic goals. The grant writer will research, select, and submit grant proposals to support the growth and sustainability of AnMed.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, creative writing, marketing, healthcare administration or related field required.
  • Minimum three years’ grant-writing experience with proven track record of successful completion of governmental and non-governmental grant applications that resulted in funding.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a health-focused organization preferred.

Experience with fundraising and non-profits, preferred.
