This 21,850-sf facility represents a significant upgrade, designed to meet Association of Shelter Veterinarians (ASV) guidelines and regulations, and it boasts sustainability features aligned with the city’s electrification goals, including a pursuit of LEED Gold certification.

We are currently seeking both Full and Part-Time Animal Care technicians to join our team at our groundbreaking New Animal Services facility (1441 Harriet St., Des Moines, IA 50317). In this role, you will be the face and/or voice for our furry friends and also the one who keeps their space nice and clean! You will play a key role in providing appropriate care, cleaning, safety, and enrichment to our animals. You will be joining a team that works together to create change and provides a meaningful impact every day for the animals and our community.
