The ARL is a leader in animal protection by keeping animals out of shelters with their people and by working to prevent neglect and abuse. The Community and Shelter Medicine team provides medical and surgical care to animals in our three Animal Care and Adoption Centers (Boston, Dedham, and Brewster) as well as to animals and their families in the communities where they live through our mobile wellness and spay/neuter programs. We are a close-knit team practicing high-quality medicine every day.

What you will do:

• Be involved in all aspects of patient care, including assisting doctors in clinical appointments, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring and recovery;
• Provide excellent customer service to clients;
• Be encouraged to share your thoughts to improve how we deliver our best care and service;
• Help us improve our services and continue to learn and grow as a team of caring animal welfare professionals who work hard to exceed the expectations of our clients, provide exceptional care to our animals, and build a supportive and fun working environment!
