Experienced Veterinary Technician (Licensed)

Veterinary hospital seeking a dependable, customer service oriented, experienced veterinary assistant to join our qualified veterinary team. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task, and is a strong team player.

Candidates must have skill sets such as (but not limited to) administering / dispensing medications, handling / restraining patients, obtaining Subjective, obtaining TPR, IV catheter placement, familiarity with IDEXX / ANTECH lab equipment, efficient venipuncture techniques, cystocentesis urine collection, anesthesia protocol, anesthesia intubation, dental cleaning, dental radiographs, and dental extractions. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of veterinary protocol, and work well directly with the veterinarians and assistants.

Candidates must have excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone, a positive and friendly attitude, a quick learning curve, a desire to help, and be self-motivated. Must have knowledge of general pet health conditions and vaccination protocol. Candidates must have at least 1 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital.

Hourly wage is dependent on experience. Must have a license as a Veterinary Technician.
