Job Summary:

Part-to full-time veterinary job combining client communication, nursing, and some clerical work. Animal Internal Medicine Consultants is a hybrid specialty practice with 2 clinical days a week and otherwise remote/from home (online) support for pet owners and patients. We are looking for experience/skills in cat handling and patient care- including anesthesia monitoring and phlebotomy/catheter skills. Nonclinical days would include client communication, Rx refills, and administrative tasks that can be done from home. Our mission is custom, compassionate care for pets and their parents. We have clinical days in Carmel on Wednesdays and Santa Cruz on Thursdays.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Nurse is highly desirable
-At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
- Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior.

-Comfortable with computers and client communications
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
