Are you interested in using your excellent customer service skills to improve the lives of New Mexico’s cats and dogs? As a Doggy Daycare Attendant, you will supervise play with pets in our care ensuring a safe, stress-free environment at our Doggie Day Care and Boarding Center.

You are:

• A lover of all breeds of dogs and can maintain a high level of professionalism when representing Animal Humane.
• A person with great powers of observation.
• An active, attentive, and caring person able to stand for longer than 3 hours at a time.
• Obsessed with customer service.
• Impeccably organized and can move from one task to the next with ease.

You will be:

• Ensuring dogs in our care are safe, stress free and most of all, having fun.
• Monitoring behavior and identifying arousal in order to prevent altercations.
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with pet owners.
• Dispensing breakfast, lunch and dinner to the animals as necessary.
• Administering medication to animals if necessary.
• Sanitizing occupied boarding suites daily.
• Assisting in signing clients up for training classes and scheduling day care and boarding appointments.

If would rock if you:

• Have experience with K-9 behavior, day care and boarding or animal sheltering practices.
• Have 1 or more years’ experience delivering excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
