Experienced Only Veterinary Technician
Great opportunity available for an experienced only veterinary technician to join our team, must have at least one year experience to apply! The Animal Alliance of Galveston County (AAGC) is a low cost non-profit spay/neuter and wellness clinic. We are currently seeking a full time technician. Our technicians play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. A positive attitude, excellent written and oral communication skills, basic math skills and computer literacy is a must. Technicians are expected to fully utilize their skills including drawing blood, performing in- house laboratory tests, safe physical restraint, administering medication, maintaining medical records, client education and assisting the veterinarian. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Minimum of one year experience required.
