SALARY: $120,000-$142,500
LOCATION: St. Louis (In office), or CSO-NY (hybrid)

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Anheuser-Busch Customer Collaboration Center (CCC), The Vault, will be the destination for Retail customers to discover insights and co-create solutions that drive beer and total alcohol category growth across all channels. The Vault will demonstrate A-B’s thought leadership and collaborative mindset further building our reputation as the strategic partner of choice across the Adult Beverages industry.
The Content Director for The Vault, will be responsible for leading the day to day activities that enable a high level engagement with target Retailers in The Vault. This role will be responsible for expertly partnering across functions to lead successful development and translations of our commercial priorities into meaningful experiences within the canter that meet business objectives and drive growth for both Anheuser-Busch and our Retailers.
This role will design the strategy around content for The Vault with the objective of co-creating category solutions at Retail. Developing the narrative and translating Anheuser-Busch’s category strategy into experiential journeys throughout the center are core components of this role. They will partner closely with our Commercial Insights and Category, Marketing, Innovation and Sales to understand our insights, strategies and commercial priorities to determine how to create retail facing narratives. Through the delivery of tangible outputs and a mindset of continuous improvement they will deliver a best in class experience that will ensure long term relevancy of the Center.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to drive joint business planning outcomes with Retailers that deliver enhanced business results. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with large scale Retailers in the CPG industry across multiple formats and channels. Through expert facilitation, customer interaction, and provocative dialogue, this role will articulate our thought leadership and drive a collaborative approach. They will have strong experience in marketing, sales, category and/or strategy is with a working knowledge of a 3-tier distribution model
From a leadership perspective it is imperative that the candidate can work cross functionally across levels of management within Anheuser-Busch and our Retailers organizations, solving for complex business issues and mobilizing change. Experience in people management is essential.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic development of content & experiences in The Vault
  • Partners with Retail Sales and Category Leadership Teams to create the long term strategy for The Vault
  • Develop annual content strategy to build out the menu of Category Management modules for the The Vault to meet the needs and objectives of Retailers and A-B
  • Recommends modifications to rooms or journeys to meet the changing needs of Retailers and A-B
Development and customization of the narrative to deliver agreed strategic business objectives
  • Owns the translation and development of the content narrative and gains alignment cross functionally with Category, Retail Sales and Brand Teams
  • Leads team to deliver effective content curation and development of engaging presentations of impactful information to communicate strategic insights and solutions through a variety of mediums
  • Create facilitation plan for all experiences inclusive of script, location, tech and ideation sessions to deliver a finalized experience
  • Support Planning & Operations team through tailoring the content to support retailer Vault visit objectives
Lead experience design to create an immersive and engaging experience
  • Own management of creative agencies to ensure content is visually impactful and consistent throughout entire Retail visit in The Vault
  • Lead strategy of redesign of physical spaces within The Vault
  • Ensures presentations are consistent with A-B’s strategic vision for the Alcohol Category and Category Management strategies
  • Lead strategy of redesign of physical spaces within The Vault partnering with agencies and facilities to execute design and build of new or refreshed rooms
Build, develop and lead high-performing team within The Vault
  • Communicate and reinforce A-B Category Management vision
  • Recruit, hire, coach and develop team with diverse skillsets needed to achieve team vision
  • Efficiently allocate and manage teammates across key projects
  • Prioritize and manage day to day responsibilities of teammates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to identify capabilities gaps, drive process improvement and share best practices
  • Foster results driven culture with focus on KPI execution
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the CPG industry in US; has held roles across Category Management, Business Strategy and/or Marketing; people management essential
  • Open to travelling within the US for work purposes
  • Success in leading, developing and inspiring high performing teams
  • Proven track record in Category Development and Retail engagement
  • Be shopper obsessed with a bias towards driving insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Joint Business Planning and how a Retailer problem solves
  • An engaging and persuasive presence as an expert story teller and facilitator
  • An ability to build authentic connections, collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision making across middle and senior management, both internal and external
  • A highly inquisitive appetite for learning about future trends in retail and how this will shape shopping behavior
