Job Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Snow Melter Technicians to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating and maintaining snow melters such as Trecan, ensuring they function efficiently and effectively during snow events. Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain snow melters to ensure optimal performance during snow removal operations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on snow melters to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with snow melters, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all snow melters are in proper working condition for upcoming snow events.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts for snow melters.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating and servicing snow melters.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating and maintaining snow melters, preferably Trecan or similar models.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with snow melters.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively during snow events.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, during snow removal operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
