Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
- medications reminders as prescribed
- Capability to lift and assist clients with mobility
- Proficient in meal preparation and nutrition guidelines
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and care practices
