Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to oversee our research laboratory. The Laboratory Director will be responsible for managing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques, data collection, and clinical research.

Duties:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory

- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and other relevant regulations

- Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies, and personnel

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data

- Maintain accurate records

- Provide guidance and training to laboratory staff

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies

- Ensure a safe working environment for all laboratory personnel

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Laboratory Director or similar role

- In-depth knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS)

- Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures

- Familiarity with histology techniques is a plus

- Excellent data collection and analysis skills

- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
