At Select Home Care we are always looking for dedicated professionals to join our team.Job SummaryIndividual who provides occupational therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed occupational therapist. COTAs implement selected components of patient interventions/treatments, obtain data related to interventions provided and make modifications in selected interventions to either progress a patient as directed by the occupational therapist or to ensure patient safety and comfort. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team regularly.Job Qualifications:Graduated from an accredited COTA program.Proof of current CPR certification.Current unrestricted COTA license, registration or certification (state specific)Experience as required by current practicing State Board to treat patients in their homes.Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice according to the AOTA.Good interpersonal skills including, but not limited to, the ability to adequately communicate with patients, families, supervising occupational therapists, peer disciplines, and referral sources.Knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for patients with occupational therapy needs.Reliable Transportation with valid and current auto liability insurance. We are an equal opportunity employer.
