Angel Kids is seeking a full-time LPN/RN, to join our team located at our corporate office in Jacksonville.
This position is responsible for triage incoming patient calls for a pediatric practice must demonstrate sound clinical judgement with accurate and thorough documentation of patient calls and instructions provided.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? In the corporate business office setting performs duties including but not limited to working with our call center answering phones, triaging calls, taking and returning messages per provider?s instructions.
? Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
? Participates in quality improvement and utilization review activities.
? Calling in medications to pharmacy
? Collaborates with others in providing in-service education as needed.
? Performs other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
? Must possess current state LPN/ RN license and CPR certification.
? Minimum of two years of Pediatric experience.
? Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
? Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
? Strong charting/documentation skills.
? Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
? Ability to manage priorities and workflow
? Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Education and Experience
Qualifications for a RN:
? Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or above required.
? RN licensure in the state of Florida (or NLC) required.
? CPR Certification Required
Qualifications for an LPN:
? Successful completion of a Practical or Vocational Nursing Program required.
? Clear and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of practice required.
? Active CPR Certification.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional medical office environment. This job also operates in a fast paced, highly customer service environment, working with Children and Family/ Guardian?s. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones as well as medical equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties and responsibilities of office manager, you will be required to stand, walk or sit for long hours. The employee must be able to occasionally move or lift at least 20 lbs. The employee must be able to communicate efficiently in front of large or small crowds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take calls on the weekend.
