Looking for Fun, Interactive counselors who enjoy helping children learn, grow and help them engage with other children in the community! We’re looking for patience, alot of interaction and positive reinforcement, helping young ones to actively participate in things like crafts, obstacle courses, and educated lessons. Our camps responsibilities will include

• Scheduled curriculums to be carried out while maintaining positive physical and emotional reinforcement of the participants.
• Being a role model and prime example of morals and values like being empathic, promoting curiosity and adventure, and positive interaction.
• Teaching values like trust, sympathy, empathy, responsibility, honesty and effective communication
• Being a leader: providing effective feedback and modeling exemplary behavior to in turn, mentor our other counselors. you will be in charge of preparing the curriculums and things during the week for the children to learn, creating activities, schedules, maintaining, setting up and breaking down the actual programs and maintaining the cleanliness of the spaces used.
• Being a big brother or sister: taking the extra step in communicating with the kids, families, and other staff associated with angel island fun park and being a valuable resource as a summer camp counselor.
• Innovating and improving the curriculum by offering more skill based activities, being dedicated and passionate about their work and the achievements that kids pass participating in them.
• Providing and adhering to safe values, procedures, and policies
• Games , arts and crafts, dancing, storytelling, strategy and puzzles are to implement different aspects of critical thinking and guiding ones that have a bit of difficulty with them all while exuding patience and positivity.

• High School Graduate
• Childcare for 1 year
• Love watching people succeed and make sure everyone thrives in a safe, fun environment
• Customer Service 1 year
• Be able to lift and move 40 pounds
• Consistent and reliable summer schedule
• Reliable transportation
• Being flexible and maintain attention for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
