Anesthesia is Hiring a Credentialing Specialist Near Phoenix, AZ

Job description

The Credentialing Specialist will obtain and manage CRNA and Anesthesiologist credentialing information such as certifications, degrees, immunization records, references, case logs, etc. This position requires organization, work ethic, professionalism and relationship building skills. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate credentialing of our providers with both hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers and insurance payors.

Job Tasks:

  • The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for communicating with and assisting facilities and staffing vendors in achieving and managing full candidate compliance per requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for providers throughout the credentialing process.
  • Ensure provider credentials are on file at all times.
  • Ensure all expiring documents are communicated to the providers and ensure that updated documents are obtained.
  • Monitor the progress of credentialing applications, follow up on pending items, and ensure timely completion to facilitate provider enrollment and participation in healthcare networks (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
