Andy's Frozen Custard is Hiring a New Store Opening Coordinator Near Springfield, MO

Andy's Frozen Custard Home Office is growing!! We are now hiring a New Store Opening Coordinator.

Job Summary:

The New Store Opening Coordinator will be responsible for setting up new locations to meet compliance and brand standards. This role bridges communication between numerous key internal and external business partners in support of the smooth, on time, and on budget delivery of all store equipment and related products related to store openings. You will work cross functionally with Operations, Human Resources, IT, Facilities Management, and Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Constant communication with franchise owners and Company Construction Department to manage to timeline & to escalate potential issues to external support partners and Andy’s support departments: Purchasing, Design, IT, HR, Marketing, Distribution, etc.
  • Collect documentation required for 2nd Pass Approval of a location/store and facilitate review and eventual approval of these documents.
  • Maintain current status of new franchise stores on the Andy’s store portfolio (collective store listing including open and future locations).
  • Management of New Store Opening (NSO) checklist/timeline; Ensure that internal deadlines and milestones are met for company and franchise stores.
  • Partner with Ops Management and Human Resources to coordinate hiring and store opening timelines for all new stores and communicate changes as needed.
  • Partner with Regional Training Manager/FOM to set expectations and schedule on new store team training and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and execute initial store supply order and set up with new store team.
  • Coordinate the setup of all payment methods including cash and credit processing needs.
  • Assure applications for supply partners are completed on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate signage needs.
  • Partner with Facilities Management to set up vendors for company store operation support.
  • Coordinate with internal business partner, General Contractor, and local government for all required certificates and inspections for Company openings.
  • Recap all aspects of store opening during and after opening with store team and business partners.
  • Maintain an ongoing focus on improving the store opening process and the integration into store opening documentation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Preferred 3 years demonstrated professional growth in food industry or related field

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, always maintain a courteous and professional demeanor.

  • Maintain a high degree of creativity and flexibility to overcome adversity and potential delays of store openings.

  • Proficiency with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Ability to travel as requested.
  • Ability/willingness to travel by airplane.
