Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling designated areas, and responding to security incidents. Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities or breaches in security
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken
Skills:
- Valid security certificate/license required
- Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
- Proficient in conflict management and resolution
- CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
