(Backup) Inventory Control Specialist / Dairy Clerk

This position requires that you be available every Saturday from at least 6am-2pm. We are looking for someone to receive on Saturdays and assume the backup role for vacations/time-off for the main receiver. The remaining shifts primarily would be in the morning as a second dairy clerk. Pay per hour when you assume the receiving clerk role will be upgraded to $27.16 an hour!

Duties:

- Perform financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve inventory management processes.

- Clean and maintain inner warehouse as well as outside salvage area

- Rotate perishable product and stock and store according to food safety and safety guidelines

- MUST be able to work alone as well collaboratively with others and display good time management skills

- Must be able to train and safely/confidently operate a powered industrial tow-motor and/or powered lift equipment

- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.

- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.

- Assist with heavy lifting and physical tasks related to inventory management.

Experience:
- Preference of at least 1 year of experience in inventory control or related field (warehouse management/order-writing and product management) and stocking product
- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management processes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required. (up to 40lbs)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.75 - $23.95 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
