Avancez Fort Wayne is a Tier-1 automotive supplier to our customer, General Motors Fort Wayne Truck Assembly Plant and we are conveniently located right across the street. Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties:All positions in the production facilities will require candidates being able to perform the following tasks repetitively, if needed, during scheduled shift and is not an exhaustive list. You will be expected to perform all additional tasks assigned by management or immediate supervisor.Assembling and or sequencing components, specifically truck tires and wheels, at rate to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.Physically loading the production line with product, i.e. rubber tires & rims for medium/heavy duty trucks. Lift up to 50lbs repeatedly when loading product onto the production line. Able to stand 8 – 12 hours per day.Cross-training & job rotation is vital to our operations & is required of all team members (Rotation about every 2.5 hours). Ability to work extra hours or shifts based upon customer production requirements.Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.Use of various hand tools, including but not limited to torque guns, drills, etc. Maintaining safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Qualifications and Experience Desired:High School Diploma/GED required.Must pass all Avancez pre-employment requirements.Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.Must be able to speak and read English fluently.Prior experience in a quality focused assembly environment preferred.Be able to work weekends when volunteered for or required;Be highly motivated and have an interest in manufacturing;Have a history of safe work practices;Be a team player, who is flexible and easily adapts to change.
