The athletic trainer is the liaison between the patient, the medical doctors or their support
staff, and the schools they cover. Operate as an ATC in a clinical setting. This position is open
in both the surgical and non-surgical departments.
Typical Working Conditions:
Fast paced orthopaedic/ sports medicine practice environment. Occasional night or early
morning hours as well as the possibility for overtime. Must be able to adjust and adapt to
changing conditions.
Work Load: 40-45 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with availability to answer your phone
on the weekends.
Requirements
Education: Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: Some clinical experience preferred but not required.
Certificate/License: Must be NATA BOC certified and possess or be in the process of
acquiring licensure, certification or registration from the state.
