Andrews Distributing Company of North Texas, LLC is Hiring a POS Operations Specialist I Near Fort Worth, TX

A POS Operations Specialist is responsible for POS inventory, execution of the company’s POS warehouse process and assists Merchandise Operations Leaders with planning. This role is part of the Marketing/Operations team. WORK TASKS A POS Operations Specialist can be expected to perform the following tasks in this role as a routine part of their job: POS Operations Specialist I Manages POS materials ensuring timely execution and strict quality standards in support of the Account Planning Programming process; ensures inventory levels are adequate to meet demand. Communicates Warehouse issues to POS Warehouse team and coordinates solution implementation. Facilitates National Accounts and POS material execution. Maintains POS Warehouse and inventory to ensure POS assets and materials are available to support market needs. Keeps work area organized, clean and shoppable. Checks-in and checks-out POS assets to the Sales team. Processes Easy Check order processing. Initiates material transfers between hometown POS Warehouses as needed. POS Operations Specialist II Trains and provides direction as needed to new team members. Acts as SME as needed on the operation and maintenance of the POS Distribution Center and processes. Responds to Sales team member questions and provides guidance as needed. Provides recommendations and innovations that improve quality, reduce costs and/or value to our customers. Assists the Merchandise Operations Manager with developing specifications for new procedures to manage the movement and tracking of POS materials. Acts as a back-up to the Sign Specialist as required. Performs the basic, routine tasks needed to cover the Sign Specialist workload. Maintains a basic knowledge of the Sign Specialist role and tasks to ensure ability to cover daily, basic tasks as required. POS Operations Specialist III Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Inventory Management System for each POS Distribution Center. Ensures adequate POS inventory is available to support Company Sales and Marketing programs. Leads and maintains the day-to-day POS inventories. Manages POS inventories for the North and South Texas Divisions. Covers vacations for POS team members; acts as back up as required to ensure efficient operation of the POS Distribution Center. Administers and maintains the Inventory Management System and the ID Tag System. Produces data reports for Sales, Brand, National Accounts and brewing partners. Builds Tools of the Trade one pagers for the Sales team to use in market. Provides training to the Sales team as needed for the IMS system. Stays abreast of current and future industry trends and innovations. Makes recommendations to leadership based on industry trends. *This is a leveled role with elevated responsibilities that build from one level to the next. Each new level is expected to be proficient in all lower level responsibilities and new level responsibilities. Ability to pull/push a load up to 70 lbs. Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products. Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday. Requires ability to tolerate working in an environment with inside/outside ambient/extreme temperatures. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments. Driving may be required during the workday. Ability to operate facility equipment required for role. Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email, preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software. Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate varied machinery, equipment and vehicles. Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various facility machinery and equipment. Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
