Responsibilities

• Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required.
• Prioritize and control all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention.
• Ensure proper repair order documentation and correction noted on every repair order with the recorded time for each operation.
• Review job status frequently to ensure any change in time or cost estimates are communicated with the appropriate service advisor and/or customer.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date repair log.
• Review hard copies of repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
• Ensure that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
• Coordinate parts requirements with the parts department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum one year of dispatching experience in an automotive service department
• GM experience required.
• Reynolds Ignite experienced preferred.
• Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean/acceptable driving record.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Sedentary Work – Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds and standing/walking up to 2 hours. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift items including small boxes, files, and walk short distances.
• Office environment – Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a keyboard, mouse, and computer.
• Must be able to read, write and have repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
