Position Purpose:
Oversee the daily operation of the 3rd year Global Training School.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee the daily operation of the Global Training School.
- Oversee and plan the Global Training School schedule for each term.
- Coordinate and schedule all activities pertaining to the Global Training School program: including guest speaker curriculum and A/V needs, student evaluations, visitations, and outreaches.
- Oversee and facilitate the teaching labs, conflict Resolution labs, and the team-building labs program in Global Training School, which includes developing the topics and expectations for each lab, creating an effective evaluation process, and scheduling staff to lead and evaluate each lab hour.
- Oversee the identification, formation, training, and development process of the World Outreach and Missions Groups assigned to develop effective strategies to launch the project.
- Train and oversee the development of each team leader. Facilitate training and meetings every month one month prior to the launch of the Teams.
- Oversee, develop, and coordinate the missions and World Outreach tracks within the Global Training School Provide support for the instructors in each of these tracks.
- Coordinate scheduled courses with the other 3rd-yeartrack that the Global Training School is partaking in. Including Ministry, Business, and Practical Government.
- Create any documents, syllabi, activation guides, planners, etc. needed for class. You will need to use the programs from Adobe: InDesign, Illustrator, and PDF Creator.
- Reading books for Activation guides the development and further development of new course materials.
- Oversee, delegate responsibility, and track the assignments of the Global Training School interns.
- Be available to meet with or counsel Global Training School students as needed per guidelines provided by the Dean of Education.
- Recruit and Maintain communication, training, and selection of the Coaching Program Coaches. This will include one meeting a month along with a review of the submitted monthly reports from the Coaches.
- Prepare and set up the paring of the students with their coaches for each of the Global Training School Students to meet once per month to walk the process of personal development with guided deep discipleship.
- Be available to fill in and teach where needed.
- Champion and execute plans, goals, and programs developed by the Education department team that has been assigned to you.
- Advise and mentor Charis students who are encountering problems.
- Evaluate the student’s situation to determine if further intervention is needed by the Dean of Students.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to operate Windows-based and Mac computers
- Effective teaching and counseling ability.
- Skills in operating Adobe Illustrator and InDesign programs
- Basic Administration and Organizational Skills.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Basic knowledge of operating within the Smartsheet program
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school degree or equivalent is required. Associate Degree preferred.
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- 1- 2 years experience working with World Outreach and/or in Missions.
- 1 year’s experience successfully leading a team.
- Leadership training is a plus.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
