The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at the leading Crypto Accelerator, CSX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the crypto and blockchain space, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a track record of efficiently managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

CSX NYC will run from September 10th - November 19th and daily in-person attendance is required. This role will be based in New York City and this will be a 7 month contract from June 2024 to December 2024.

As the lead on our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the accelerator program for the first time in NYC. Most critically, this role is the front-facing contact for all cohort participants; communications, scheduling, onboarding, networking and connections between internal and external audiences and lead on all documentation for the program.

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure CSX program weeks are delivered in a first-class way, efficiently and on schedule.
• Implement operational procedures and policies to improve the overall efficacy of the accelerator program.
• Manage relationships and communications with entrepreneurs, investors, vendors and partners within the blockchain ecosystem, internally to the program and externally.
• Coordinate with various teams including marketing, legal, and tech to ensure seamless operation of before, during and after the accelerator fall cohort.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the accelerator's operations.
• Support the events, marketing, programming, content, and office management teams to ensure a high level of accelerator execution.
• Plan and execute a culminating event - Demo Day - with many cross functional partners.
• Own, write and keep current all program documentation and schedules using Notion, Calendly and Google Workspace.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a startup or technology-focused environment. Experience in the blockchain or crypto industry is highly desirable.
• Must be very comfortable using Notion, Calendly and Google Workspace.
• Must be a very strong communicator - written and verbal, with good documentation skills and ability to keep documents and files very organized and easily accessible.
• Strong ability to interact positively and effectively with partners at all levels - from support staff to CEO’s and Founders - both internally and externally.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and processes with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Helpfulness is essential. An absolute “can-do” attitude with no task being too big or small for the role. Ability to ‘invent something new’ to address the problem or challenge that comes up.

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $75.00-$80.00, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
