Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our animal patients and ensuring their well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
Duties
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases in animals
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed
- Perform surgeries and dental procedures
- Provide emergency care to injured or critically ill animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is preferred
- Proficiency in aseptic technique, animal catheterization, laboratory procedures, and animal handling
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care, animal husbandry, and dog handling
