Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist in various procedures. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during dental procedures, including orthodontic adjustments, appliance placement, and removal
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take patient records, including medical history and dental impressions
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
Skills:
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient privacy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
