Picking Function:

• Operate a Reach Truck - experience required
• Utilize an RF Scanning device to scan item location and item number bar codes to confirm items picked for customer orders.
• Apply customer-compliant labels to cartons in preparation for shipment.
• Palletize cartons and shrink wrap pallets in preparation for shipment.
• Read, understand, and follow instructions on a pick ticket, packing slip, and receiving check-in sheet.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of an assigned set of pallet locations. This includes: sweeping, straightening, and organizing cartons, removing empty pallets, shrink wrap, and cardboard, closing open cartons, and ensuring all items are properly labeled.
• Follow the outbound shipping loading and order checking procedures.

SKILLS

• Must be able to operate an RF Scanner
• Prior reach truck expereince is a must
• Strong work ethic
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Extensive walking, lifting, bending, standing
• Long periods of operating material handling equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Must be able to read an RF Scanner and pallet scale.
• Must be able to work overtime with little notice
