Responsibilities:
- Review shop orders to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
- Develops and revises standard operational working practice and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards, including safety.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and organized shop environment and ensures compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of skilled technicians.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ experience working in a Shop environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in a management or supervisory position.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Lean Management experience preferred
