Anchour is Hiring a Remote Senior Brand Strategist

Overview

We are looking for a strategic and insightful individual with a passion for data-driven brand development. In this role, your strategic decisions will shape the future of brands across diverse sectors. You will leverage your analytical and creative skills to uncover strategic challenges and craft compelling brand narratives, positioning, and audience personas. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will confidently engage with clients and bring ideas to life through persuasive storytelling. You will own strategic projects and contribute to larger initiatives through research, interviews, and the development of comprehensive brand documents.

Remote-first position. Reports to Director of Strategy.

What You’ll Do

Lead the creation of compelling, integrated brand strategies for our top clients. Your focus will be on building brands from the ground up and bringing them to life through foundational positioning, storytelling, and marketing strategies that are relevant and impactful.

  • Develop & Execute Brand Strategy: Lead the creation of core strategic deliverables, including brand positioning, messaging, voice, target audience identification, and more.
  • Audience Insights & Persona Creation: Utilize deep market insights to craft detailed personas that guide targeted messaging and brand strategies. Lead efforts in understanding customer behaviors and preferences to continually refine audience strategies.
  • Craft Compelling Messaging & Narratives: Develop impactful brand narratives and messaging that resonate with target audiences and effectively communicate the brand's mission and values. Create and maintain a consistent brand voice across various channels and campaigns, ensuring cohesion and clarity in communication.
  • Analyze & Optimize Copy: Audit existing copy, identify opportunities, and develop future copy strategies. Articulate copy guidelines and write clear, effective copy across various mediums.
  • Lead Creative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate brand strategies with broader marketing initiatives. Drive creative thinking by leading brainstorming sessions, workshops, and strategy discussions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure our brand strategy practice remains innovative and impactful.

What We’d Like To See

  • 5 Years of Strategy & Copywriting Expertise: Demonstrated experience in brand strategy, naming, messaging, and copywriting for SMEs across multiple markets.
  • Research & Insights: Strong understanding of research methods and data analysis to inform strategic brand development.
  • Client & Presentation Skills: Proven ability to present work, lead workshops, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Compelling Communication: Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with a command of persuasive and engaging language.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Adept at translating data into actionable insights and developing successful brand strategies.
  • Self-Management & Collaboration: Strong self-management skills and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
