Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational aspects of the health and safety function.
• Review site-specific health and safety plans.
• Cultivate collaborative internal partnerships with Regional Leads, Market Sector Leads, Practice Area Leads, and staff to advance health and safety.
• Cultivate collaborative external partnerships with clients and industry leaders through participating in conferences and speaking engagements.
• Assume a role of technical support within the company for safety and industrial hygiene.
• Be a change agent related to health, safety, and industrial hygiene.
• Develop and execute industrial hygiene monitoring.
• Serve as Health and Safety Lead for the Safety Committee.
• Perform field and office audits.
• Develop and deliver various health, safety, and industrial hygiene trainings.
• Develop, review, and edit programs and procedures.
• Manage third-party programs.
• Serve as an expert for technical guidance and leadership on industrial hygiene-related matters.

What Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will have the following required education / experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety, Public Health, or closely related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial hygiene with at least 4 years’ experience as an Industrial Hygienist
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
• Experience with safety in addition to industrial hygiene
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Demonstrated experience with development and execution of Industrial Hygiene sampling plans
• Demonstrated auditing experience
• Demonstrated experience leading training classes

Preferred Education and experience:

• Experience with safety and industrial hygiene in environmental consulting
• Experience working with committees
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certified
• OSHA HAZWOPER 8-hour supervisor
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety, Public Health, or closely related field
• Laboratory safety experience

Base Level Benefits for Regular Full-Time Positions:
