We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant should be comfortable working with electronic medical records and have a working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
• Collect co-payments and other fees from patients.
• Assist with medical records management.
• Provide support to medical staff in the primary care setting.
• Assist with patient care activities such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
