Anchor Point is a locally owned WBE.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Design a wide array of high-traffic and highly-scalable platforms and applicationsUnderstanding business requirements and translating these into technical solutionsDesigning and creating the underlying data structure and data flows to support the application buildDesigning and building web interfaces on multiple platforms using Ruby on Rails and related databases using best practicesLiaising directly with internal and external business users and providing 2nd/ 3rd line support on the Rails applications through the life-cycle of the projectThis role requires a level of technical experience and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with business staff, technical team, and third party developersKeeping up to date with the latest plans, developments and changes in the Rails world.Provide on-going support of existing Rails Developments.QualificationsLooking For:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred4 Years of experience in Ruby on RailsSound knowledge of Ruby on RailsStrong understanding of design patternsStrong understanding of Service-Oriented ArchitectureBackground in a MVC-based implementation of a web platformAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
