Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full time, experienced Lead Commercial Mover. This position entails the management of crews on various commercial relocation projects. We are continuing to build a workplace where each employee has a voice, and contributes to the common goal - deliver the best quality of service possible, every day.

Schedule: 40 hours minimum weekly, must be able to work nights and weekends

Pay: Starting at $23, pay will be evaluated based on experience.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Leading a crew to complete day-to-day handling, assembly, and moving of office furniture such as: Desks, filing cabinets, chairs, tables, crates and boxes, cubicles, pedestals, and other equipment.
Always keeping safety first by wearing protective gear and maintaining prompt communication with supervisors regarding any safety concerns.
Utilizing various hand tools, electric tools such as drills, and other related equipment.
Perform projects including the moving of furniture and other non household items.
Upholding quality work through clear communication and outstanding customer service to all clients. Maintain clear communication with management regarding possible issues with furniture to avoid client issues. Perform all moving related tasks as directed.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Experience leading and managing a crew of 2-4 workers.
Work extended hours throughout the week and occasional Saturday.
Must be able to read and speak English clearly to communicate with clients.
Work with little to no supervision in a team oriented environment.
Detail oriented, always providing outstanding customer service by maintaining a positive demeanor. Box truck driving experience (non-CDL).
Consent to and pass a drug screen.
Consent to and pass a full background check.
Must have own personal transportation and be available during scheduled hours.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, twist, and move repeatedly.
Able to pull and push up to 70 pounds unassisted.
Able to lift up to 50 pound unassisted.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
