About us

Anchor Communities l, & ll are medium size Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) with 2 locations: Fox Lake, & Brandon. Both locations are looking for positive, dedicated, detail oriented and fun individuals who are looking for a rewarding career in caring for our senior population.

Fox Lake is looking for: 2nd and 3rd shift & weekend warriors

Brandon is looking for: All shifts & weekend warriors

We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team and provide support to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and be able to provide assistance with activities of daily living , such as meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping. They should also be comfortable providing emotional support and be able to handle any medical or mental health issues that may arise. The Resident Assistant should also have excellent communication skills and be able to respond quickly to any emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to residents under the guidance of the RN, Administrator and Assistant Administrator
  • Organize and facilitate activities for residents.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living
  • Document daily
  • Assist with meal prep and housekeeping duties as assigned per shift
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Work in compliance with DHS 83
  • Provide guidance and support to residents in crisis situations.
  • Be a team player and be able to work individually with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years old
  • CBRF or CNA certified preferred, but willing to train the right candiate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
