Job Title: Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to join our team in the NICU department. The RN will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborns in critical condition and supporting their families through difficult times. Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Monitor and assess newborns in the NICU, including vital signs, feeding, and medication administration.

2. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.

3. Provide emotional support and education to parents and families of NICU patients.

4. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

5. Respond to emergencies and provide prompt intervention as needed.

6. Follow NICU department protocols and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

7. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
