Job Title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. They will closely monitor patients' vital signs, manage post-operative pain, and ensure a safe and comfortable recovery process.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assessing and evaluating patients' post-operative conditions2. Monitoring vital signs and managing pain levels3. Collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to provide the best patient care4. Ensuring patients' safety and comfort during the recovery process5. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed6. Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families7. Documenting patient care accurately and timely8. Participating in continuous education and training to stay up-to-date on best practicesQualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice2. BLS and ACLS certification3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU setting4. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills7. Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams8.
