Job Description

Job Title: Perm RN Oncology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients with cancer, offering support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and assess patients' symptoms and side effects of treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Assist in procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred
• Certification in Oncology Nursing (ONCC) preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
