Job title: Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to critically ill patients, monitor their conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess and monitor the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor vital signs and respond to any changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• BSN preferred
• ACLS and CCRN certifications a plus
