Job Title: Cardiovascular Stepdown Registered NurseJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care for patients transitioning from the intensive care unit to the general nursing floor following cardiovascular procedures. This role requires excellent clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a strong commitment to patient care.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Monitor and assess patients' condition, including vital signs and cardiac status2. Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans4. Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications5. Respond to emergencies and provide rapid intervention as needed6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsQualifications and Skills:1. Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice2. BLS and ACLS certification required3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting4. Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment6. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills7.
