Position Overview

ANC is looking for an Audio and Visual Technician who is responsible for maintaining ANC’s standard of excellence in each market. This position requires a person that is extremely organized, detail oriented, able to work with many deadlines, in a time‐sensitive industry. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience managing people and effectively building relationships with our extensive list of clients. This individual will manage a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of ANC’s signage systems for all sporting and non-sporting events, including LED Displays and LED Operating Software.

The right candidate will be willing and able to…

• Repairing any failing parts and rectify any software issues prior to gates opening to the public;
• Communicate directly with clients, outside vendors and internal departments including marketing, sales, projects, and technology/IT;
• Perform system review and maintenance of all onsite products before every event to ensure all signage systems will meet ANC’s obligations to teams and sponsors;
• Communicate effectively and regularly with the Tech Support Specialists and the Client Services Account Executive assigned to the market;
• Make decisions independently that have impact across the company
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, placing orders with Operations Manager for the warehouse as necessary to replenish supplies;
• Meet deadline to ensure that timesheets and operations reports are recorded and uploaded within three (3) hours after each game/event;
• Coordinate with and take direction from ANC Operations Manager and Tech Support Specialist to meet the needs of the client and building for games and other events;
• Serve as single point of contact for support with ANC and Local Venue team;
• Act as ANC’s representative to the company’s clients in the market, including acting in a professional manner, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and enforcing company policies and procedures;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with ANC’s clients within the outlined venues.

The right candidate has…

• 2-3 years’ experience managing a team
• Experience in video engineering, video test equipment, and testing strategies
• Experience in audio system operation and troubleshooting
• Experience in technology troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Computer hardware setup skills and server knowledge; including internal hardware components
• This positions at times requires employees to access and perform work high elevations, including accessing scoreboards where 30~40’ climbs are typical
• Flexibility in their schedule; sporting events are held year-round at different times, including Holidays
• Capability and availability to work in venues on non-game or event days to ensure that ANC’s systems are fully operational
